This documentary offers viewers a look at the lingering trauma handed down from the American slavery system. Over the course of nearly an hour, men and women describe how they broke the emotional chains passed down from their ancestors, while demonstrating the moral courage to face their own racial attitudes. Through this film, viewers are brought face-to-face with the roots of American racism, and the processes that usher lasting reconciliation. There will be a Q & A panel discussion following the screening. Seating is on a first come first serve basis, so you may want to arrive a few minutes early.
